Lens Plate question

I'm debating between the RRS L84, Wimberley P20 and the Kirk LP-41 for my new 70-200 2.8L IS2.

Any great reasons why I should pick one over the other? When not mounted on the ball head I will be using a RS-7 strap. I'm not certain that the P20 has a hole for the FR-3 on the strap. It looks like the other two do have threaded holes.

The Wimberley P-20 does not have a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the bottom, the RRS L84 does. The L84 is also about 1/4" shorter than the P-20, if that matters.

Rather than screwing the BR lug into body or lens plate, I'd suggest attaching the lug semipermanently (Loctite Blue 242) to a small AS clamp. RRS has the B2-FAB-F, which is a 1.5" clamp. I prefer the smaller Kirk QRC-1, a 1" clamp - I have one on each of my two BR straps, and I can easily and securely move the attachment point from body to lens to another lens or remove it for tripod/monopod mounting.

I have been using one of these on my 70-200 F2.8 IS Mk1 for 4+ years. It has never moved, never needed re-tightening etc. I simply put it on the lens foot when it was new and forgot about it. I also use a longer (115mm) version on my 300 F2.8 L IS again no twisting, loosening or quality issues. I also have longer plates from Kirk and Wimberley - they are no better.
