That would be a busy sensor. When you consider DPAF doubles the pixel count and then global shutter (at least as currently implemented) doubles the count again with "dark" pixels used to store charge for conversion, you are talking about what would be effectively a 180 MP sensor. Certainly feasible from a geometry perspective when you consider the pixel density on small sensors, but also a challenge from a defect perspective. Frankly, I would rather have a 100MP conventional sensor, but that is just my wish.45 MP global shutter? i would atleast drive to the camera store to check it out.
