Likeliness of on-chip ADC and foveon-style pixels in upcoming Canon FF bodies?

It might seem inpatient, however. How many hints do we have, that this tech could be implemented in new boies like the 5Dx/IV or whatever and the 1DXII? They didn't do it in the 5DS/SR...so what ya think?

The chances for that are:
ZERO, none, nada, nil, zip, nada... not gonna happen.

Canon will use their current tech for as long as they can, and will only switch to a 3rd party manufacturer (like Sony, but there are others like Toshiba etc) only if they absolutely have to, if they are so far behind in technology that their sales fall directly as a result of a real, huge uproar and dissatisfaction at specifically their sensors.
