Melbourne Cemetery Statue Project

Statues, statues, statues everywhere:

I recently did a walk around Melbourne General Cemetery in Australia photographing statues with my MKIII and Sigma 20mm and 180mm macro lenses. Cemetery's are great places for shooting and they are generally in the dead centre of town [he he].

Check out my Melbourne Cemetery statue work:

Very nice bokehlicious statue portraits. If I may suggest though, you may want a deeper DOF done in the waning hours in the afternoon or early waking hours in the morning. Who knows, you might get some ghosts or two... ;) It might be quite interesting to see a different perspective on these statues. Hmmm... I think I'll shoot some in our local cemeteries once I'm back in my rural province area. Thank you for triggering some ideas in me. :D
