overgrown train tracks

About a week ago I was riding my bike downtown (Tucson, Arizona) and discovered a section of unused train tracks. They had trees growing in the middle which I thought was cool. Biked over this afternoon to do a few pics. Canon 5D3, 24-105L f/4 lens, quick application of Nik Bleach Bypass (at about 50% opacity over the base photo).

I went back this afternoon to try some more compositions. This is JPEG straight out of camera, other than downsizing and adding watermark. 5D3 with 24-105L.

Lovely location!

The second picture has definetly a better composition. I like it very much.

But I believe you could do even better. If I may suggest something:
I don't know how the background looks like but if it's not to busy try some wa from a lower point of view.
Kneel down or even lower. I think this will get you more focus on the rails and allows to to also show more from the trees. Also play a little with DOF. maybe a blurred background would also do well.

Well here is one from a low angle. There is a freeway right behind this location, so the background is busy. Since this shot is wide angle the freeway is less noticeable, but it is there.
