Patent: EF-M 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS

Thanks! Yes min. 118mm not considering possible collapsible lens design. A bit surprised, that f/6.3 and use of DO element(s) does not yield a much shorter design. Especially compared to EF 70-300 with f/5.6 on the long end and just 58mm filter thread, which physically is only 99.9 mm in length, ready to shoot, not even using a collapsible design. Maybe this indicates, that the EF-M patent is a much cheaper to produce (and sell) lens design?

Come on, we already have slow zooms...
What about some nice 50 2.0, 85 2.0, 135 2.8 and 250 4.0 DO telephoto primes?

Currently I'm using M less (mostly with 11-22 and 22) and with no interesting lenses I'm almost ready to sell.

Our set-up includes an M1 that has a 22 attached to it, and an M2 that has the 11-22 attached to it.

I am NOT ready to sell.
