That 'SLT' patent obviously shows an xxD series crop camera.
But the Mirror won't be stuck like a real SLT. It will move up and there will be a 2nd part that block the light coming from the pentaprism to block flare issues. The AF unit does not exist in the camera, but the AF will work from the sensor.

The next xxD camera should have a significantly larger spread AF points, the way I see that.

Was there not 1 rumor that talked about a camera launching in 2017 'that was never been shown before'?

The microlens patent shows microlenses with offset curvatures at the edge - do Sony sensors have the same arrangement because it certainly looks like it is trying to overcome well-discussed issues with peripheral illumination for short-flange mounts.

if that sounds like I know what I am talking about, it is purely accidental...

Okay, based on the abstract and the flowchart this patent seems absurdly trivial - it's basically "keep the EVF live view going for a while even when the user takes their eye off the EVF and something else (image playback, settings) is displayed on the back LCD, so as not to miss photo opportunities due to a pause when switching back to the EVF". A good idea but definitely should fail the obviousness check.
