Problems with new CF card in 1DmkIV

I've just bought a Sandisk Extreme Pro 32Gb CF-card for my 1DmkIV but the card doesn't work in the camera. I just get the message "no card" when I put it in. The camera has firmware 1.1.4 so it should work with the new UDMA7 cards. I tested the card in my 5DmkII and it worked just fine with that camera. What can be the problem???

Do other cards work in the camera? One way to get that message is when the card slot has a bent pin. If other cards are working, and its just the new one, return it. Some cards do have compatibility issues, but the Sandisk should be OK.

Nikon users have had to deal with card compatability repeatedly.

Yes, I have the old version Sandisk Extreme Pro (90Mb/s) 16Gb in it now and it works just fine. It's nothing wrong with the new card either since it's working in my 5DmkII. I can't figure out what the problem is
