Quick 5Dmkiii WiFi Question

Hi all!
I was just wondering if anyone could enlighten me on the 5dmkiii wifi functions? If you get the wifi add-on can you use the same phone app as on the 6d and get all the same features? It would come in handy if I bought a 6d but I'm more inclined to go that last mile and fork out for the 5dmkiii.

Hard to compare. You'll likely be hard pressed to find anyone willing to spend $800 for a WFT-E7 WiFi add-on for the 5D3. Good luck with that!

On second thoughts, I can live without wifi lol, but just out of interest, can it do the same stuff, connect to your phone etc?

I plan on getting the new Transcend wifi SD card. It should suffice, and its pretty cheap. The app is looking promising on my android phone.

Just checked. The EOS app for iPhone says its only compatible with the 6D. Not sure if that can or will change in the future.
