R5 HSS

Has the R5 a HSS (high speed sync) modus? Mechanical speed sync is 1/200. Would like to use faster speeds, for example 1/1000 or faster by daylight with my Godox V1.

The R5 supports HSS.

With a 3rd party flash, you may need to manually set the flash to HSS.

If you setup a custom button for flash settings, you can control the Godox flash’s power from the camera body.
