I've been wanting to buy a 5D3 kit, but unable to do so until the 7th, which is two days after all canon rebates expire. The 5D3 kit was $3499 as of last night on amazon and now lists at $3699. My questions:
1. Based on the past, what does canon typically do in January concerning rebates?
2. Can anyone explain the drastic fluctuation with the 5D3 kit price? In less than a year, I see that it is anywhere from $3499 to $4299. The price elasticity is insane.... but remain hopeful we can see $3499 again, too bad I missed the boat this month.
