Hi everybody, now i have 24-105mm and tamron 90mm i sold my 50mm 1.4 yesterday
iam looking for buy 24-70mm tamron and 70-200mm 2.8 is usm
do you think the tamron is a good choice?

The reviews I've read on the Tamron 24-70mm VC are very good. I'm not as familiar with the 70-200mm.

My take is that the Tamron 24-70mm 2.8 VC is a nice upgrade from the Canon 24-105mm, but not quite as good as the Canon 24-70 2.8 II. But, it does have image stabilization and is considerably cheaper.

I currently own a Canon 24-105mm and am debating whether to upgrade to the Tamron 24-70 or Canon 24-70 II. I think both are great lenses.

I have the SP24-70VC and it is amazingly sharp, the VC (IS) is wonderful (at least 3 stops) and I highly recommend it. It is far superior to the 24-105, which I also have. I would sell the 24-105 and pick up a 70-200. The reviews for the Tamron are very good, though I have no experience with it. I do have the 70-200L f/4 IS and think this is one of the best affordable lenses on the planet. Hope this helps.
