I wonder how good the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L mark II would be, if tested on a 30MP camera, the Canon EOS 5D mark IV.

In terms of "what do I get for the money", the choice would be easy...the difference in IQ is, in my opinion, rather neglectible.
And: one fits all!

As stated in the post before this, I have found the difference to be quite significant.
