Post your shots from Canon's initial 'halo' lens for the RF system.

This is the lens that stays mounted on my R3 for family shots around the house. It's also great for indoor events.

Beautiful examples for what you can do with such a lens.
I just recognized that there wasn't a lens thread for this until now.
But I'm sure I won't add photos here. This lens is not on my wish list. :ROFLMAO:

Took theses the other Evening on a trip we took to Japantown in SF, I have to say there is a strong argument for only needing the 28-70 and 70-200 to cover a TON of ground I mean a ton. This lens really has floored me It is my go to in my studio here , it has been used heavily for music, product photography, event photography and headhot/portrait work as well. It does almost all of it flawlessly and while It isn't quite on par with my 85 1.2 for full on portrait shots it sure is a fantastic one lens wonder in my eyes.

I'm a complete novice at this stuff and when we were last back in Scotland (I've lived in Oz since 1988) when my Mum passed away we stayed overnight at Tarbert (nice small fishing village about 1 hour drive from Loch Lomond) to get away from things for a break. My wife was shopping one morning so I decided to go for a walk (bugger going shopping) and just above the town was the ruins of the local castle.

First photo is the original photo, and 2nd is after tweaking in DXO Photolab / Nik Collections (yes, some may say cheating but first time I've ever turned a photo into B&W). No particular reason for using the 28-70 f2 for this shot other than the fact it happened to be on my camera at the time I went for a walk.

PS - didn't know which place to post this, so also duplicated post in the 28-70 f2 thread, mods can delete either if in the wrong place.
