S90??

Since it looks like the S90 is at the end of life, what's next? Will a new version be announced soon? Any word on when?

I hope they don't add more megapixels or take away RAW. I have wanted one of these for a while, but haven't been able to justify it yet. Hopefully they don't take away what makes it good before I can get one.

Could you imagine an S90 w/ an aps-c sensor? Not quite an evil w/ changeable lenses, just an s90 w/ a larger sensor. That would be cool. Just to clarify, I haven't heard anything about that...this is just me dreaming here

My guess is they will add Megapixels - they have always done.

On the other hand - compare the 7D to a 400D - same sized sensor - the 7D has better high ISO - so given that the technology has been improved a small increase - maybe to 12-15max wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

RAW - if Canon thinks then they'll keep RAW - because that was pretty much THE selling point of the S90.

My guess is they will add Megapixels - they have always done...

The megapixel thing may not be a given. Look at the G11. It saw nearly a 5MP decrease compared to the G10.
