Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM

very amateur photographer here. just wondering what people thought on this lens for astrophotography and night shooting. https://www.sigma-global.com/en/lenses/a013_18_35_18/

or any suggestions would be appreciated. I have a canon R50 just with 18-45mm STM Kit and Canon RF 50mm f1.8 STM.
