Did Canon get the color choices right on the SL2? Is the color choice a brilliant marketing move, or is it an act of desperation? Now is the time to have your say because (as we all know) all the Canon executives closely follow this forum and despite the fact that we are not representative of the market, will blindly follow whatever we suggest...

Choice – singular? In North America, it comes in black and white. In Japan (as the Kiss X9), it's also available in silver.

I'd like a silver one, but it's unlikely that Canon Australia will sell it in Oz.

I'm considering the white version SL2 just for situations where I don't want to be thought of as a serious photographer. I don't care for the silver one, although I do still have two of the old EOS-10s commemorative edition bodies in a silvery gray color with the very rare (but nearly worthless) EF 35-135 mm matching color lenses.

At one point Pentax offered the K-50 in 120 different color combinations. I think they also learned that wasn't the best business decision. However, it does seem in some cultures the camera is considered a fashion accessory!? My wife certainly matches her purse to her outfit... I guess I should match my camera to mine? In that case I'd need the plaid flannel or denim blue jeans model!
