im looking for a quick way to change teleconverters, i hear there is a tool called a sleight of hand expert, can anybody tell me more about this and where I might find one?
this is not a product advertisement.. i know there is a product out there to do what im looking to do, im curious if anyone knows where I might find one or if anybody knows anything about it?
I think I'd hire a Formula 1 pit crew. Probably only need three guys (one wheel's worth).
Whenever the Photog yells "Switch", the crew snaps into action.
First guy grabs hold of the lens.
Second guy pushes the lens release button.
Guy #1 twists the lens off the camera.
Guy #3 mounts the TC to the lens
Guy #1 mounts the lens'TC combo onto the camera
Continue shooting...
With three, you can probably get the switch done on a 400 f/2.8II in well under three seconds...
(You do know the mention of this "sleight of hand expert" in the other thread was meant tongue in cheek, right?)

duh! look how dumb I look today, I really thought there was some sort of disconnect called a sleight of hand expert out there.... necessity is the mother of invention I suppose...
Do you have them pat you on the head like a bazooka loader when done, or have their gloved hands on top of the lens, palms facing you, ala F1 pit crews?
