dpc, thanks for letting me enjoy your groups of colorful morning clouds. Around here we've been experiencing an unexciting stretch of 50 shades of grey. This winter we're down 30+ inches of snow, but up in rainfall. That rain has been making the rivers an unusual shade of "winter" brown.
I think there is no better explanation of "golden hour" like this
