I still don't believe the resolution will be anything other than 8192 wide, but that's only 6.67% more than 7680 (i.e. UHD 8K). Would it affect my buying decision if it was only 7680? It would certainly be a minus point but if everything else was good enough I'd soon forget about it. It's probably more important to people who will shoot a lot more video than me, because of its consequences for DCI support.45MP is less than 7.5% more than 39MP in terms of linear resolution.
6.67% doesn't sound much, so is it significant in the real world? 6.67% taller than six foot is almost 6' 5", so I'd say yes.
