Where are the grips already?

I have a 5D MK3 but it's so puny it seriously needs a grip to balance anything except the 50mm F/1.8.
I just got a 50mm F/1.2 and the thing ways almost as much as the 24-105 I got rid of.
Seriously front heavy.

Where are the grips we were promised?

The official word, since day one, has been "end of April." Since that has not yet passed, let's not get too up in arms yet.. I am also ready to get the grip (pre-ordered 3/6) but at least they gave us a date (presumably 4/30, unless it's early).

Not sure why people are questioning the grips so much... Canon announced when released it would be the end of April. It's not like they were supposed to be here a month ago and yet to hear anything... End of April

I too am anxiously waiting...the 5dm3 does feel a little small without a grip and with a 70-200 2.8L on.
