i have a Zeiss F-Distagon 16 mm with a Haoda CTX-EOS adapter that works well with my 5D2. However, on my 5DsR, the camera gives me a lens communication error (error 20), but only if I fully engage the lens with adapter (clicking sound when mounting the lens). When I unmount the lens by just a bit away from the click stop, the camera takes pictures with that lens; took a while to figure that one out. The error even occurs in Manual mode.
Is there a C/Y to EOS adapter that works well on 5DsR?

it is a compound problem. At infinity focus the rear lens baffle interferes with the mirror on the 5DsR. Solution. Mount lens set to close focus, engage live view, re-set focus to infinity (or wherever needed), shoot in live view. When turning live view/camera off, first put lens to close focus again.
