I just got the 200-400 and replaced the foot with RRS replacement. I noticed that there was a mini foot in the trunk. Is this normal with the new Great Whites? My 500 is nearing 13 years old (time for photo-bar mitzvah) and only came with one foot.

It seems the new mini foot is even smaller than RRS replacement foot.

The new big whites do come with a monopod foot.

Does the monopod foot work well on a tripod?

With the 500/600 II, some people have used the monopod foot mounted backwards for correct balance when using an extender. The RRS foot solves that issue. Not sure that the 200-400 would require that for balance.
