Wireless remote operation for 5D3 + Ipad 4

Does anyone have experience with CamRanger + 5D3 that allows you to shoot wirelessly through an Ipad? Having Live View on the Ipad and being able to adjust the exposure, etc, remotely is my goal. The only vendor I've found is CamRanger which is approximately $300. Any alternatives to this?

The Canon 6D has wifi and works great with Canon's EOS app on the Ipad and I miss this same function for the 5D3. Smart Trigger app does not work with LV nor Ipad 4.

Any help you can provide would be very much appreciated.

CamRanger works great. It is well worth the price if you need to remotely control the camera or show larger images to a client for approval without having to shoot tethered to a computer.
Easy to set up and use. Adorama claims to be a sole distributor, but I got it at a local camera dealer. The price was the same ($299.00)
