  1. The price in the big Japanese chain Bic Camera (if there's a seriously cheaper place here in Japan to buy lenses I don't know it) is JPY131,130 which currently is USD1,025. With that you get store points worth 10%, or USD102.50, so assuming you ever buy something at Bic Camera again the JP store price is in effect USD922.50.

    I'd love a 28mm f/1.4 and would personally jump on this offer, but the CEO of Sigma said they'd be adding a new mirrorless mount to their product line this year and I assume it'd be RF.
    Very sadly, I think the new mirrorless mount for Sigma is Fuji X mount. Sigma began making Fuji X mount lenses recently.
