I received some info that the “Special Epic Event” will in fact be a wedding photography seminar.
We’re told no 60D announcement on July 13, but expect it in August.
We shall see.

Apparently you haven’t been here long enough to realize that this is a “pure entertainment site”. Rarely do any of the rumors come to fruition.
In other words, it’s all CR1.

haha… i was glad that i purchased my 24-70 few month back, when there was a rumor about new IS… i’m sure it’ll come… some day…

Speaking of this site as a whole the trolling has subsided. Suppose all the nikon mirrorless talk is more attractive fodder then picking fights here.
It has been pretty obvious that nothing was happening in the way of new cameras tomorrow for about a week now.
Typically, about 1 week before a announcement, Canon is no longer able to keep everything secret, because brochures are printed, invites are sent out, etc. too many people know about what will happen and very good info starts flowing, including photos of the product.
CR1 means its just for entertainment.
Nikon, on the other hand apparently leaks information about upcoming launches of products, so there is no mystry at all.
CR2 is entertainment too. CR3 comes when we are a day or two from launch of something and it’s all over the webz. But it is a fun site to idle away time for sure. Thanks CR guy!
I really love this site, even though the rumors are almost always inaccurate. But hey, it’s “Rumors”!!! so no complaint at all.
All the rumors brings me something to hope for and dream about…
As the only rumor not to surface yet is that Canon will upgrade it’s non-L primes, it must be true.

Wow, cool. We have a CR1 rumour about a product announcement and another CR1 rumour about no announcement. Well, one of them will have to turn out right so its source will deservedly receive CR2 next time.

This site is frustrating and the predictions are ridiculus. All the predictions are CR0, that is the true.
This site keeps on losing its credibility.. and I thought cr guy was doing a better job than nikon rumors, as they are posting way less rumors, then i realized, every RUMOR they post is DEAD ON ACCURATE
That’s because Nikon leaks info, while the doors of Canon in Japan are more tightly guarded than the Emperor’s Palace and if anyone says anything they would be instantly fired. Specualtion is fun, enjoy it!!! Yeah, it’s more predictions than rumors, but hey, just have fun with it!
CR guy is fine in my book., I like rumors. I never mistake them for reality; I just enjoy the speculation and the tweaks of hope they engender.
So where’s my 5DmkIII, that’s what I want to know.
