    The Canon store does not price match.
    Best Buy does.
    Did you not even understand what I posted? The whole point was why would ANYONE buy a refurbished lens for $1619 from Canon when you can get it BRAND NEW from Best Buy for the same price.

    This one happens to be a good deal.
    It has nothing to do with how Canon prices refurbished lenses.
    It was a nice comparison to make and of course, people should go for the best deal.
  3. If you want an even bigger laugh, compare the inflated prices of *secondhand* lenses and cameras in the UK, with brand new products that come with a 3 year warranty from a certain major exporter in Hong Kong... The *new* products are typically 10% cheaper than the secondhand ones!
