If you didn’t know, Kodak is the best selling brand of compact cameras. By some metrics they are more than 20% of the total market, which is quite impressive. The draw to Kodak cameras is their price.
The Sony and Canon compact cameras have become ridiculously expensive on the used market. New retail boxed cameras can also suffer the same fate. Canon currently has one compact camera, the Powershot V1, which is great, but it will run you $899, which is out of the reach for most people.
If you just want a camera to take some snaps, these sub-$200 Kodak cameras will fit the bill.
