Early 2014
The expected launch of the Canon EOS M2 appears to be happening in early 2014 according to a good source. The new camera won't be much of a departure from the current EOS M, although it will be smaller and provide a better AF experience. It's expected the 20mp sensor from the 70D will be present in the new camera.

Apparently this launch was delayed until the new year and was originally planned for August/September of 2013.
