The exclusive Canon deals at B&H Photo which launched with the Bild Expo event are set to expire on Thursday, September 14, 2023 and there are no signs of any extension of these deals, or a return at a later date.

We're not sure what to expect for rebates and discounts for the annual Black Friday rush in November, but we don't expect to see any better deals across the entire lineup the rest of the year.

If the discounts aren't applied to your cart automatically, simply use the coupon code BILDBH50 during the checkout process.

  1. 25% off the RF 24-70/2.8L is a really good deal.
1/3rd off 24 f/1.8 macro is tempting me. Don't you have one? Do you feel it's image quality better than the 28-70 if you added an extension tube?

It's a nice lens, but to be honest I haven't used it for macro at all, nor do I have 3rd party extension tubes with which to test my 28-70/2. I got the RF 24/1.8 mainly to use as a low-light lens, and it worked well for that (e.g. inside the Vatican Museums).
  3. Definitely some good deals here. Wish the 70-200/4 was just a bit more discounted as it's been floating around $1300 all year. The 100-400 is so cheap at $500 I'm tempted to pick it up even though I don't have a second body for it. I know I'd rather have the 100-500, but at quintuple the price, it's not a today purchase anyway.
  4. I bit the bullet and went for the R5 ($800 off), EF to RF, battery, CF. Nice touch to also throw in the battery grip for free. Didnt want to take the chance that the offer would expire on the 14th. It was $200 off the other week and I was almost ready then. Glad I waited.

Sounds very good. I showed the deal to my wife. She hasn’t balked, and we’re still married...
  6. For which product? If you use the links in the post, this discount is automatically applied when you place item in cart.
For either of the 70-200mm lenses. I used the link, and a $200 discount is applied, but that still makes it $200 over the price listed here. When attempting to apply the promo code at checkout, it comes up as invalid.

Sorry, I don't see the problem. The promo code is showing as invalid because it's already been applied, and you can't apply it twice.

The promotional prices are $1299 and $2399 listed here on CR, adding those two together you get $3698, add in the tax of $221.88 and you get $3919.18, the exact total shown in your cart at the bottom right. It's all right there in your screenshot. Do you not notice that the Total is somehow $200 less than the subtotal even after >$200 in sales tax is applied? Do you not see the Coupon Discount: –$400 in the summary at the bottom right?

If you really want these lenses and you keep missing what's in front of your eyes and debating it, the promotion actually will expire before you buy them.
  8. The BILD deals are over, but at B&H with promo code SAVEBIGCANON you can still get good discounts on a few products:
    • EOS R7 for $1299
    • RF 600mm f/11 IS STM for $599
    • RF 800mm f/11 IS STM for $799
    • RF 15-30mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM for $399
In addition to the promo above, some other items have had their BILD discounts rolled into instant savings, e.g. the RF 14-35/4 remains at $1199 and the RF 100/2.8 Macro is still $999.
