Powershot Update Coming
I have some information about what is coming in the Powershot lineup in the spring. I’ll be doing a writeup about that on December 27.
Getting ready
I’ll be MIA until the 27th of December or so. I’ll be packing, bouncing around airports and getting settled in Ireland. I’ll be over in Europe for a couple months. I will definitely continue to update the site.
In the meantime, David should keep you guys apprised (thx Jim) of any news. As can be expected, contacts have given into Christmas and the other holidays this time of year.

Anyone know a place I can order some Neopan 1600 & Ilford HP5 & Delta 3200 in Ireland? I’m having trouble with a Canadian credit card getting stuff shipped to me in Ireland. I guess I need a film dealer.

If you fail to find a good store in ireland or england you could try to contact fotoimpex (http://www.fotoimpex.de/anglicus/HOWTOORDER/HOWTOORDER.html) which a really nice store for (almost) all analog-needs here in germany.
I’ve bought Delta 3200 from Calumet in London before. There’s a Calumet in Belfast, according to their website.
Try John Gunn Camera Shop at 16 Wexford St. in Dublin, (01) 4781226. They are one of the last places in the country to still do all of the traditional film stuff and are very pleasant to deal with.
As the other Hugh says above Calumet have a store in Belfast, there is also a Jessops in Belfast who also stock a selection of films. There are good mail order places which ship to Ireland e.g.

Jessops is a good place to try, Calumet in Belfast also. If all else fails, hit up http://www.discountfilmsdirect.co.uk – I literally just bought rolls of Neopan 1600 and Ilford 3200 (the only other film in the order was a roll of Superia 1600) for a theatrical production at the beginning of December – they got a second batch (when I ran out of the first)to me in a day.
Where are you in Ireland? Are you in the Republic or Northern Ireland?
I can give you suggestions based on my extensive (;-D) knowledge of the local stores if you’re close to me…

Don’t think it will be G yet already, but more A480 or so and IXUS 95, maybe the already rumored powershot UW for the beach next summer ? (usually in february there are low models announced)
