  • I have pre-ordered Adobe Production Premium Pro two weeks back. Only 15 days to go for shipping. Cant wait to ‘fill the contents’ ;)

  • $599 for the upgrade! This is how much I paid for the full CS3! I can’t believe the price, or it must be mistake.

  • The Ps CS5 upgrade is $199. The Ps CS5 “Upsell” from Elements is $599 ($100 off the price of the full version).

  • FWIW,

The new lens correction feature in Photoshop CS5 Camera Raw isn’t shipping with the release version today, though it is available inside of Ps. There will be an update to Camera Raw 6.1 that will add that feature.

Also, Lightroom 3 will be getting similar functionality whenever it is released. So don’t buy Photoshop CS5 just to get the lens correction feature as it will also show up in Lr3 (RSN):

  • I’ve been waiting for this. Figures it’s released today for download. I left my computer at work, where it will remain until I go back in on Tuesday. Can’t wait to see what the new Indesign has to offer. I’ll definitely be buying the creative suite asap. CS4 is great, but the native 64-bit support on Mac is reason enough for me to upgrade.

  • Just found out after installing the trial that CS5/Camera Raw 6 does NOT support T2i raw files, while on CS4/CR5.7 it does

  • Why the hell are prices so different in EU?

2600$ for the master, that is about 2000euro.
We pay 3300euro’s for the master!!!!

    This is a big shame!

  • I’ve been waiting for this since they released that piss poor effort that was CS4

  • Also, be aware the lens correction in Lightroom 3 won’t be compatible with Photoshop CS3 or CS4. You’ll have to flatten the image from Lightroom 3 (e.g. export to TIFF) or forgo the lens correction stuff. So, while not a huge issue it does muck up the workflow and then you do gain a lot vs sticking with DxO which will do lens correction (distortion, aberration, sharpening) better than what Adobe is offering.

OTOH, if you update like a good little Adobe-ite (both Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5) then this won’t be an issue.

  • Doh! Stupid auto-correction!

    s/b “…then you ***don’t*** gain a lot vs sticking with DxO…”

    Thx

  • Well Europeans never really contributed to the arts like graphics design or cinematography, so I think adobe knows that and doesn’t really care about them.
