Sorry to some folks that have innocently been caught in comment moderation. There aren't many, but a few of you have. I've started flagging certain things to stop a certain person from taking conversations to uncool places.
I will approve good comments as fast as possible. So far about 5% of comments have been triggered for moderation.

Yes, I noticed that on one of my comments which was later approved. Its too bad that you have to spend the time and effort to do this, but the quality of the comments in this forum as compared to DPR, for example, makes it more interesting and useful.
Like Ed said, I’m sorry for you to, spending time on this is sad, but it will increase the satisfaction of the users. Thanks a lot for putting this website together, it’s pretty interesting to see the point of view of the other user.
It unfortunate, perhaps a semi-user moderated system – something like slashdot or engadgets comment system where if enough people downgrade the comment it can be moderated.

That’s a great idea… I’ll see what wordpress has for that. Letting you guys and gals decide what’s worthwhile or not just might work. I hate playing comment dictator.

i agree with the idea of users downgrading comments
It’s to bad you have to waste valuable time over some people that takes away from the majority of us that enjoy this site to get information and have the chance to meet and hear the latest. but as we all know there are always a couple of different apples in the barrel. Thanks for taking the time to run a good site.
