I received the following email a couple of minutes ago.
I talked with Canon tech support today and they said they are no longer going to produce the Canon 15mm fisheye!!
I'm not sure what anyone in tech support would know about product availability. I haven't seen an official discontinuation yet.

Very true Sharpy, a fisheye lens is the “money maker” every pro has to have it, nothing comes close.
What is up with this lens? This seems a long time for it to be out of stock. It may be an old lens, but it is well regarded, and this is not a good time for Canon to be replacing it unless the replacement is not that much more expensive.
