You cannot get 8k 16:9 video out of a 33mp 3:2 sensor. While 8k video is 7680x4320 (33.2mp), a 3:2 sensor must be at least 7680x5120...

I'd have to presume it is to some degree, given the discord between the build/positioning of the R7 to the 7D series.
