When will the RF 24-105 F4 Gen 2 lens be available?

The first generation of the RF 24-105 F4 has been on the market for 6 years and is looking forward to the arrival of the second generation.

I guess the answer to that probably depends on the answers to "what's wrong with the first one?" and "are those problems bad enough that an improved lens would get a lot of gen 1 owners to upgrade?". My guesses would be that the answers to those are "not that much" and "not really" respectively, so it might be a while until we see a new one.

And, between the EF versions 24-105 that took 11 years.
