First comma (polygonia c-album) of the year.
The larger butterflies are rare this year. If I remember correctly, I have not seen a single peacock in 2023.
We had a cold and wet spring. Perhaps many pupae were infested with mold

It's the one behind the camera.
I like the last most, where you can see the proboscis so well.

First time that I could get a swallowtail (papilio machaon). Taken at Kos.
Seems she is about to oviposit.
200D, EF-S55-250mm STM, @250mm, f/16, 1/320, ISO1600
(when I think about s/n at ISO1600 from the R6m2... )
