Has anyone heard any rumors or have any knowledge of when Canon might start shipping these (other than the very, very few they shipped so far)? I mean they announced this lens a full 5 months ago, sheeesh.
Glad you were able to finally obtain a copy. I am waiting for the weather to warm up a bit more and then I will take the 10-20 mm out.I just snagged one from K & M Camera, they literally just got it in an hour before I called. Adorama now doesn't expect them until June, so this was an unexpected surprise. Can't wait to try this baby out, just the other day I was wishing I had it when 14mm wasn't enough. Should make for some interesting work!
Just got it, fresh off the UPS truck. Even though I knew it would be, I still can't believe how small and light it is in my hands. Now I wait patiently (ha!) for the weather to improve to put it through its paces.Glad you were able to finally obtain a copy. I was also equally impressed by the small size and light weight of the lens.Just got it, fresh off the UPS truck. Even though I knew it would be, I still can't believe how small and light it is in my hands. Now I wait patiently (ha!) for the weather to improve to put it through its paces.
Especially compared to the EF 11-24/4, and for once the RF replacement is cheaper!!I was also equally impressed by the small size and light weight of the lens.
I'd love to have one of these lenses, but I need a cpl so much I'm afraid I wouldn't carry it often. Love the ef 11-24, which fworks for me due to the adapter.I was also equally impressed by the small size and light weight of the lens.
They were available for only ~2.5 hours yesterday morning.I check Cpricewatch at least once a day and it says Adorama and Amazon via Adorama have the RF10-20mm F4 L in stock, but it looks like it's already sold out again.
Not enough time to sleep! They were available for only ~2.5 hours yesterday morning.

Do you say, "two point five," or, "two and a half"?
As a scientist it should be 9x10^3 s. But, biologists don’t seem to worry about SI units. You snooze, you lose.
For time, I’d say two and a half…but as a scientist, I might say 2.5×10^0.

At least you don’t live in a country that still uses that archaic system.
