Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals

The Black Friday and Cyber Monday barrage of deals appears over, however we should still see lots of deals going throughout December and into January.

I have added a page to the site that will show the deals currently offered by retailers, I will be updating it regularly.

I never heard of seller, but it's one heck of a deal on eBay.

Thanks for that update! That's $400 well spent. So now I have two. I hope Yongnuo comes out with their version of the ST-E3-RT soon :)

I don't know much about flash photography, it seems you either need 2 of these to use as a master and slave or a transmitter on the camera. What's a good transmitter to get and how much do they cost?

Correct. You need at least two to take advantage of the radio capability or buy the Canon ST-E3-RT transmitter. Trouble is, it costs at least $285 and doesn't even have focus assist. The rumored Yongnuo clone supposedly will have more functionality than the Canon and, presumably, cost less.

Ive been using the YN 622 triggers which I like. You can use the cameras flash menu to change settings remotely.

it looks like you can get one for $82 on amazon. so you could put one of those on the 6d hotshoe and then configure, control and fire the flash remotely?

ps. is there any way to control a flash remotely with the 6d's built in wifi function?
