EOS-M Body color - Black or White?

I haven't seen any information on the launch of the other EOS M colours. B&H only has black and I haven't been able to even find a concrete launch date for black. I'd like to get a white one for my wife so if anyone has information about colour availability in North America, that would be great.

I read that the white body will be sold in the USA initially thru the Canon website. It will only be in stores in Japan??
I have no idea as to when it will appear for pre-order in the store.

Re: EOS M - Colour Availability

Canon USA indicated that the white version will only be available direct from Canon's online storefront. Since B&H is a US retailer, they will not get the white version.

That's too bad because it will likely mean I have to pay full MSRP. Does anyone know if Canon direct charges tax?

I'm real intrigued with the introduction of the EOS-M body to shoot video with. Along with the adapter, I can bolt on any of my EF lenses and shoot video 'till the card fills up or the battery dies. But I want a white body and cannot find a retailer that will have them when they become available. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks everyone.

Looks like the white body will only be available through the Canon online store. I like the idea of shooting wildlife with the EF 300mm f4 IS on the front, maybe even the 1.4 extender if that works too. And then on the other hand, some macro work in the garden with the EF 100mm L IS macro shooting some bugs and bees on rollerskates! :)
