This year I stayed in Germany for my holidays and visited what thousands of chinese, japanese and american tourists visit each year in Germany. The famous castle of Neuschwanstein near Füssen.

I really want to photograph this castle, especially with snow. In February I will be in Salzburg for a few days and thought about doing a side trip here, but just too much effort.

Thank you for posting. Reminds me of my visit in April 1980 and it was snowing there! It was beautiful. Hope to go there again.

Yes, this photo was taken from the bridge. It is a panorama out of 10 single frames in 2 rows. I could print it as big as 4 to 5 Meters on the long edge.
I also plan to be there in Winter when it has snow. I will book a room in the hotel beneath the castle so that I'll be able to be there early in the morning before the crowds will come.

I didn't make it in my February 2017 trip to Austria, but I am going this coming February (2019). I am spending two nights in the neighboring town of Fussen and hoping for good pics with snow.
