Sounds more like a patent for the surveillance cameras than the consumer.
If it's for consumers, it'll be interesting how the overall IQ could be like.

Fascinating research, though I suspect the applications are more for robotics than consumer use. Nonetheless, such innovations can have tremendous impact.
