1D Mark iv ?

Any idea when/if the Mark iv will ever make it back across to the States ? Several of the larger retailers have it "back ordered" as opposed to "discontinued". I am finally in the market for one. I certainly hope the DX is not going to completely swallow up the iv market. :-[
