1D X arriving at smaller dealers?

Anyone received or heard information about any cameras being sent to smaller dealers? So far the only thing I have seen posted is about shipments from the very large dealers like B&H, Amazon and Adorama.

as far as i can gather, the few who have already received their cameras, have gotten them from smaller local dealers. i have pre-orders with three small dealers, and they all got shipments this past tuesday. its just that their allotments are much smaller...

I did order my 1dx from small store and they said that it should be there this week, now they saying next week, I am so freaking tired of this canon crap, I am so ready to pull the trigger...paid in full and waiting so long and nothing, not even 100% assurance that I will get it and when... :(They are canon authorized reseller, they saying that they contacted canon but what can canon do for them that its not doing it for other resellers... missed so many gigs because of canon crap, went to euro 2012 and I missed it with canon, I am not a pro so I could not get a loaner from canon even though I am the cps member but after seeing photos from people that did shoot at many games they were not all using 1DX, so wonder if they all wanted it but could not get it or they just did not want to bother.... I am flying to Europe again in couple of days and most likely will miss another few opportunities there... what a canon crap... :(

There is a small dealer in Boulder, CO (Mike's Camera, they have 3 locations), they ordered 37 cameras if I remember correctly. They have 1 camera prepaid, and 2 reserved with a deposit (which I don't know how much), but it appears to be one of the shorter lists I have seen and maybe worth for somebody that ordered way late to get on that list.

My dealer screw me over. Had order in B&h right when they had anounced it, I would have 1Dx by now, but wanted to avoid tax so canceled it and ordered it from NJ store. They charged me in full right away, now they telling me that they will not have it for another 2 or 3 weeks and i am leaving to europe on 26th. This sucks big time. Beauty of ordering from local store :(

It's starting to happen!!!!

I placed a deposit on a 1D X back in January with a small local dealer. I got an email from him today stating that Canon had notified him a 1D X had been shipped and would arrive in his shop on Friday.

I'll be standing there when the UPS driver arrives.

Finally is here........... wowwww this is just amazing. Now is charging this big battery :)

After waiting a long time in the queue with the big guys stores, this is my vote to the small ones.....

well, now is time to go out and shoot a bit :)
