Looking at the photos of the body as well as poking through the list of compatible accessories, it looks like Canon has decided to do away with the classic three-pin remote release port. I haven't read anything about that change on any official documents.
Has anyone heard anything about this, or know if there's an alternative (that's still wired)? It would be strange for a 1D to be released without that, but would be equally strange to have that accessory work via USB or something.
