The 100-500 is giving slightly cleaner images. But I will get the 800 as in real life it would not matter.

In Brian's tests, the lens is not looking too good. It is an inexpensive lens with a long zoom range. I guess we get what we pay for.

He's actually pretty enthusiastic - although he notes the limitations. interesting that the prime RF 800mm f/11 is very similar in quality to the long end of the 200-800mm.
