I have travelled a lot in the last weeks and shot a few thousand pics, most with the 5DIV and the 24-105 II.
My probelm: missing lens profile for Lightroom. How long will it take that an Camera raw/lightroom update will come?
My experience with this combo: The 5D IV is worth the money, even if the body is not stellar as some reviews mentioned. It is an superb working horse. Iso 4000, 1/40, f 105mm almost dark, and the shot is still viewable...
The 24-105mm II is (IMO) better than the MK 1, but still lacks in the edges (sharpness and CA). At the outer 25% on each side, the sharpness lacks. Visibly. Heavy CAs are also here. Maybe an better Lightroom profile will help.
My way will be an updated 24-xx L 2.8... if it is on the market. I need an azoom lens, as my old shoulders recognize each gram of weight on them.
