In the recent post http://www.canonrumors.com/2012/03/5d-mark-iii-availability-update there is a rumor that prices will be regulated.

Does anyone think the prices could rise come May? Is this some scare tactic by Canon to spook the channel and perpetuate sales? Or does Canon want to maintain the MSRP as long as possible to avoid devaluing the new offering?
