The Camera Store says "price is MSRP only and is subject to change". So it looks like they're collecting $3800 for pre-oders with the final price yet to be determined (could be higher, could be lower).

Thanks for this thread. Helpful in making my decision. BTW, I agree, I'd never buy anything from the US if the only shipping option was FedEx. They've charged me $50 for a free part (wrench, 2lbs), when i refused and said "Send it back" they called me a few days later and said the brokerage fee was $35. I told them call me back when it's $10 otherwise send it back. The manufacture got it back and later sent it to me as "a gift".
