1. Got my 5D3 at last!!!

3. What the hell is this? It says open but its a locked door.
Or is the open part directed to the rubber-flaps on the side?

It's the location of the date/time backup battery (to open it, you need to remove the small screw inside the terminals compartment).

I have a question about the menu.

In the menu:
I use the big wheel at the back to go up and down
I use the joystick to go right and left (to change the section within a category)

The main dial does the same as the joystick, it goes right and left from a section to the next. Is it possible to custom it in order to move from a category to another instead of just a section? That would be much faster when navigating in the menu.

Use the Q button to navigate the categories.
